NBC Sports Made Absurd Graphic Error Claiming the Rangers Traded Henrik Lundqvist

This would have really set the NHL world on fire.

On Friday night, the NHL Draft officially got underway with the New Jersey Devils selecting Jack Hughes with the No. 1 overall pick. That should have been the biggest news of the night, but NBC tried pulling a fast one on all of us.

As you can see in the image provided by Twitter user @bronxmatthew, NBC tried telling us the Rangers and Devils pulled off a blockbuster deal that sent Lundqvist across the river and over to New Jersey.

Well, that's simply not the case, as Henrik obviously is staying in the Big Apple and wasn't traded. The producer working the draft needs a serious talking to. How in the world can you let this happen?

Though some trade rumors are surrounding Lundqvist right now, we know for certain he won't be suiting up for the Devils next season. Come on NBC, be better than this.
