Nets GM Claims Team Learned About Kevin Durant's Free Agency Decision From His Instagram Post
By Max Scoli

Kevin Durant broke the internet when news got out that he was signing with the Brooklyn Nets. Thousands of people flocked to "@TheBoardroom" on Instagram to see which team the former NBA MVP would choose.
Apparently even the Nets general manager did.
That's right. Sean Marks admitted that he too was rapidly refreshing The Boardroom's Instagram page in a desperate attempt to see if anything new had been uploaded.

This doesn't seem right.
Marks may claim that this is what happened, but this social media post was not the first to inform the public of his decision.
More than an hour before the NBA free agency period even began, Adrian Wojnarowski updated his followers on Durant's intentions heading into the open market.
Kevin Durant is planning to sign with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources tell ESPN.

Woj is the most trusted and reliable news source in all of basketball, so the fact that Marks says he was not told that KD was signing with Brooklyn with this information circulating is beyond ridiculous.
Nice try, Sean, but we're not buying it!
