New Patriots TE Dalton Keene Has Best Mustache in NFL Draft and It's Not Even Close
By Michael Luciano

The New England Patriots addressed the tight end position heavily in the 2020 NFL Draft, as they used the 101st overall pick on Virginia Tech tight end Dalton Keene. While Keene has a lot to prove on the football field, he'll certainly be among the most talked about rookies in minicamp if for nothing else than his outstanding facial hair.

Keene is the second tight end the Patriots have taken in the third round of the draft, as they used the 91st overall pick on UCLA tight end Devin Asiasi, although Asiasi has far less remarkable facial hair.
Keene lined up as a fullback, H-back, and tight end during his career at Virginia Tech. He didn't have the volume of catches to secure a first or second-round pick, but his athletic ability should help Belichick and Josh McDaniels return to those two tight end sets that were so successful in the mid 2010s.

Notes on Keene:
- Decent blocker
- More of a pass catcher to pair with Asiasi
- Pair of TE’s for Pats just like Hernandez & Gronk in 2010

Some view Keene as more of a Day 3 pick than a third-rounder, but New England is adding a Round 1 mustache in the former Hokie.
