VIDEO: New Raiders Las Vegas Stadium Looks Like Something Straight Out of Star Wars
By Scott Rogust

The Raiders franchise's tenure in Oakland reached its regular-season conclusion in Week 15 in the form of a heartbreaking loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. With the Raiders saying farewell to the "Black Hole," the team will now be welcoming a wholly different definition of that phenomenon in Las Vegas. On Tuesday, a video was obtained showing the exterior of the brand new Allegiant Stadium, and it looks straight out of Star Wars.

Seriously, that does look like a new incarnation of the Death Star, except sleeker (and ideally without one gigantic flaw). It really is a new and improved "Black Hole," given the color of the exterior walls, and the gigantic opening in the front of the stadium.
Yo, we really bout to have the sickest stadium in the entire league though and people still sayin' "Enjoy Vegas" like it's supposed to be an insult. ? "Gee thanks man, we don't have to play on a baseball field with toilets that back up anymore." #Raiders https://t.co/1VcctfdrpY

And it's such a vast improvement, given the bleak updates provided on the status of the stadium earlier this year.
As of now, it looks like the Raiders' new home is bound to be completed by the start of the 2020 season, when we can officially usher in the Sin City era of the franchise.
