New Raiders OL Richie Incognito Suspended 2 Games for Violating NFL Personal Conduct Policy

Richie Incognito in trouble with the NFL's administration? Please, allow me to clean my glasses, *cough*, then put them back atop my noggin.
Though he clawed his way back into the NFL from obscurity (and apparent retirement) against real odds, Incognito is once again in trouble with the authorities. He's been hit with a two-game suspension to start the 2019 season.
And yes, this penalty came as a consequence of one of the previous infractions and/or civil disturbances Incognito was a part of before signing his latest NFL contract.
Raiders GM Mike Mayock knew this was coming, but just because you're prepared for such an absence doesn't mean you should be bringing the guy into your camp in the first place.
Incognito was charged with making threats outside a funeral home where his father's body was being held in August 2018, and "appeared to lack concentration and was unable to maintain a coherent thought." He then threatened the employees with a "truck full of guns" he supposedly had easy access to. It was later reported that he pleaded guilty to punching a hole in the wall of his grandmother's house in the midst of a separate dispute.
If all this doesn't merit a suspension, perhaps the incident in which he chucked weights at someone at a local gym does? Who can say? Well, we're now resigned to wait two additional games to watch Incognito's impact blocking, which is certainly a valuable-enough skill to merit his obnoxiously uncouth behavior in the eyes of Raiders brass.
