New York Giants OT Evan Neal to have ankle surgery

In what has been a lost season for the New York Giants, more bad news is coming in from an injury standpoint. This time, it's right tackle Evan Neal, who has missed the majority of the season with a bum ankle.
Originally, it was reported that he was dealing with a sprain. However, according to Pat Leonard, we now know that Neal actually is dealing with a fracture. Because of that, he will be having surgery soon to correct the issue.

Neal was recently placed on Injured Reserve, ending his 2023 campaign. This has been a nightmare season for him, but now the focus turns to 2024. Will Neal be healthy enough to make an impact for this offensive line? Fans can only hope.
