Twitter Detectives Think New York Jets Beat Writer Might Be Behind Alleged Adam Gase Burner Account
By Mark Powell
As it turns out, Adam Gase might not have a burner account after all.
While many assumed that a strange Jets fan Twitter account defending Gase was actually run by the head coach himself, it turns out he's not even capable enough to arrange such a scheme on his own.
Per some clever Twitter screenshots, we now (apparently) know that the infamous account belongs to one New York Daily News Jets beat writer.
Yes, that's right. Per some curious screenshots, @WyattV18 might actually be...Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Ironically enough, Manish was the first to suggest Gase had a burner account run by himself or a family member. If he created the account himself to provide further evidence for a lie he constructed, Manish will surely have to answer some tough questions.
The account has now been deleted (because of course it has), but previously Jets Twitter did some sleuthing to discover to what extent said Twitter user would go to defend Gase's ways.
Should this social media reporting prove to be true (big if), we have oh so many questions and few answers.
Please, for the love of God, we need a tell-all.
