New York Post Publishes Bizarre Story About Sam Darnold Hooking Up After Jets Win

In a 'what were you thinking' kind of moment, the New York Post decided to publish an article about Sam Darnold's off-field celebration following the New York Jets' 34-3 thrashing of the Oakland Raiders.

Rather than discuss the highlights of the team's well-deserved win, the Post instead delved into what the second-year QB did afterwards, which was attending a night club with his teammates to celebrate.

The Post reported that Darnold and his teammates were seen celebrating their victory at Bounce Sporting Club in the Flatiron District, where Darnold apparently 'got wasted' and 'hooked up' with a woman.

I mean, we could just let the 22-year-old enjoy a night out in New York City after a big win, right? Or, we could stir up the pot and link him going clubbing to his recent bout with mononucleosis, also known as the kissing disease.

Darnold missed three games this season with the infection and struggled upon return, but has since rediscovered his form under center. So what if the young QB is out celebrating a win? He certainly earned it after the smackdown the Jets handed the Raiders on Sunday.

And it's certainly worth noting the Post also reported that Darnold went home around 12:30 a.m.
