New York Post trolls Aaron Rodgers over his rough 2024 debut

Yup, this wasn't the plan for Rodgers and the Jets.

The Jets trade for Aaron Rodgers continues to look worse by the day. Last season, Rodgers tore his Achilles on the opening drive. After working his tail off in his rehab, he was fired up to start the 2024 season off the right way. That wasn't the case.

Rodgers struggled against the talented 49ers defense and New York ended up falling 32-19. This was not what anyone was hoping to see out of NY. Following the rough showing, you better believe the New York Post was ready to let AR12 have it:

In the loss, Rodgers completed only 13-of-21 pass attempts for 167 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Rodgers very much looked like a quarterback who is turning 41 in December. He'll hope to clean things up once Week 2 rolls around.
