NFL Analysts Using Ben Roethlisberger Boat Trip to Prove He's a Bad Teammate is Sloppy Reporting
By Brian Cass

It's a slow period for news in the NFL world. So of course, the media is trying to make a story out of nothing to fill some air time.
The latest victim is Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who's already had a tumultuous offseason dealing with the Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell nonsense. As he does every offseason, he took a few of his teammates down to his lake house for a nice weekend to just hang out and bond. And per usual, the NFL media decided to spin this little vacation into something negative so it fits their narrative.
He does this all the time. Nothing new

Just leave the man alone already. It seemed pretty clear that both AB and Bell were more of the problem than Ben ever was, so why go back and try to throw shade on Ben for doing something like this? It comes off as lazy reporting and click bait.
PFT would have you believe Ben Big is with teammates at his lake house as "a late-career effort to bond with his fellow Steelers". In reality, he has been doing this for years during the offseason. We're not even sure what this proves or how it's a bad look for Ben. If anything, it makes his teammates look bad for acting the way they did toward him after he was kind enough to bring them to his private lake house.
Again, it's a slow period for news right now in the NFL. But c'mon, there has to be better things to talk about than this. The Steelers have put all of the nonsense in the rearview, so perhaps we all should too.
