NFL Announces 2021 NFL Draft Dates in Cleveland
By Jerry Trotta
The NFL Draft has provided starved sports fans with oodles of content amid the coronavirus pandemic. Why stop that narrative?
Less than 48 hours after the conclusion of 2020's festivities, the league confirmed the dates of next year's edition.
The 2021 NFL Draft will be held from April 29-May 1 at two separate locations in Cleveland: FirstEnergy Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Start the countdown!
The league awarded Cleveland the draft location last May, and the confirmation came as no surprise as the city was named a finalist to host the three-day event in both 2019 and 2020.
As part of the traditional pre-draft celebration, the Browns' team website claims that there will be a free football festival, autograph stations, and the chance to take pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The 2021 NFL Draft will be one of the most significant in NFL history as it will follow the first-ever virtual experience that the league was forced to embark on due to COVID-19.
Congratulations, Cleveland. This was years in the making.
