In 2019, the Seahawks were inches away from a NFC West championship, and still made it to the Divisional Round, winning a road playoff game in Philadelphia along the way. There's no doubt that the team had a solid season, but it seems like they still haven't proven their success is stable to everyone.

In a NFL.com article written by Adam Schein, the columnist proclaimed that the Seahawks won't make the playoffs in 2020. He cites that there are just too many teams that got better in the NFC to warrant Seattle a playoff spot, naming the Cowboys, Eagles, Saints, Buccaneers, 49ers, Cardinals and Packers as his playoff teams.

The disrespect that is being put on an MVP caliber quarterback in Russell Wilson, and Hall of Fame coach, Pete Carroll, is going to make fans extremely upset. To consider the Cardinals a better team at this juncture just adds insult to injury.

We wouldn't recommend betting against Russell Wilson, especially when paired with solid pieces around him, like Bobby Wagner, Bruce Irvin, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and others. Add the coaching mastermind in Carroll, and it seems like Seattle can once again be in the serious conversation for a division title.

Even though this was one of Schein's "bold predictions," it's still pretty disrespectful to consider the Seahawks outside the top seven in the NFC, and fans have a good reason to be upset.
