The NFL surely isn't going to make this an accommodating situation for the Cleveland Browns and Kareem Hunt, and rightfully so.

Hunt, who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs and then banned for eight games for his despicable actions during last season, signed with the Browns and former general manager John Dorsey this offseason.

It appears the Browns are trying to have their cake and eat it, because they asked the NFL if Hunt could be present at the team's facilities during his suspension. The league said no, and it's pretty clear why.

This type of ruling varies on a case-by-case basis, but given Hunt's physical altercation with a female was caught on tape (in addition to some other questionable off-the-field incidents), the NFL ruled against it.

In the meantime, Hunt will have to work out and attend counseling on his own.

As you can see how the rulings vary, suspended wideout Antonio Callaway will be allowed at the Browns' facilities, considering his was a substance abuse issue and only featured a four-game ban, which is considerably different than Hunt's situation.
