VIDEO: NFL Draft Expert Todd McShay Says Chase Young is Better Than Both Bosa Brothers
Chase Young has been gaining a lot of hype for his play this season, including a record-setting four sacks in one game and 16.5 sacks on the year. As such, Young has been moving up in mock drafts, being projected to be picked as high as No. 2 overall by the New York Giants. This projection makes sense due to Young's dominance as a defensive end, however NFL draft expert Todd McShay had a rather hot take about Young's potential in the league.
It is an incredibly bold statement to say that a college star is better than Nick Bosa, a rookie who has already been named NFC Player of the Week twice in his young career, and Joey Bosa, the 2016 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and 2017 Pro Bowl member.
However, Todd McShay wasn't done there. He went on to say that even if he needed a quarterback, he would still pick Chase Young over any other player in the draft.
The hype for Chase Young is real, and if he ends up deciding to enter the draft, he'll have some high expectations based on the way McShay has clamored over him.
Still, from what we've seen on the field this season, he could very well be the most talented player in the draft class.
