NFL Reportedly Plans to Fine 10 Players for Leaving the Bench During Browns-Steelers Brawl

The fallout from the brawl between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers isn't in the rearview mirror just yet.

According to Adam Schefter, the NFL still plans to fine 10 players who left the bench during the shocking brawl between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph at the conclusion of their Week 10 clash in Cleveland.

Players who approached the fight but did not participate could be fined over $3,500 if it was their first offense and up to $10,527 if it was their second offense.

For the players who actively participated, those numbers escalate to $7,017 for first-time offenders and $14,037 for second-time offenders.

It's clear the NFL isn't messing around on this situation, even with the players who were barely involved. After all, the player at the epicenter of it all, Garrett, was suspended indefinitely for striking Rudolph with his own helmet.

The fines may also help send the message that similar actions in the rematch between the two teams in Week 13 will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form.
