NFL Insider Reveals 3 Teams Most Linked to Jalen Ramsey Trade
By Scott Rogust
The NFL has seen a decent amount of transition in terms of talent for the past month. Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey could be the next player to move onto another team. There were plenty of teams interested in the former fifth overall pick, but there are three who have stood out from the rest of the pack.
According to NFL insider Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and Seattle Seahawks are the teams most heavily linked to a possible Ramsey trade.
The list of teams shouldn't be considered a surprise, as all three squads have a pressing need at cornerback. Kansas City (20th), Seattle (26th), and Philadelphia (31st) all rank at the bottom of the league in terms of pass defense.
Ramsey's talented enough to contribute and make an immediate impact on either team. However, it will be a matter of whether or not one of the organizations cave into Jacksonville's asking price of two first-round picks. Considering all three teams' championship window is wide open, it's likely someone will bite the proverbial bullet.
La Canfora continues by saying a trade won't happen as late as the deadline in Week 9, rather, it could come as soon as this Friday. Either way, Ramsey is expected to suit up for the Jaguars this Thursday, when they face the Tennessee Titans.
In terms of the most likely landing spots for Jalen Ramsey, keep an eye on the Chiefs, Seahawks, and Eagles in the coming days.
