NFL Insider Suggests Antonio Brown Could Sign With a Contender After Trade Deadline

There's yet another plot twist emerging in the Antonio Brown saga.
The troubled wide receiver has had a tumultuous 2019 season that's seen him join both the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots, fight the NFL multiple times over his helmet, and deal with rape allegations from a former trainer. Now, according to NFL insider Jason La Canfora, it's becoming increasingly likely that Brown signs with a contender after the trade deadline.
The 49ers, Saints, Ravens, Colts and Packers all stand out as possible teams in need of help at receiver that could pursue him.
The Cowboys and their struggling offense also seem like a possible fit, but Jerry Jones has made it clear that there's no place for him in Dallas.
However, there's simply no denying that Brown would add a whole new layer of depth on offense for any team he joins. He's finished every season since 2013 with at least 1,200 receiving yards, and if Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees had him in their respective offenses, things could get dangerous.
With all of that being said, the fact of the matter is that he's still got his legal troubles to deal with. It's entirely possible that the rape allegations prevent him from taking the field.
