NFL Network Somehow Mistakes Bobby Wagner for Frank Clark in Training Camp Graphic
By Charles Nason
With training camp for most NFL teams getting started this week, the NFL Network has boosted their coverage of each camp across the country. Although they've designated NFL experts to cover the early stages of training camp, they apparently haven't hired many experts in the graphics department.
In a recent segment on the NFL Network, the graphics team made a pretty bad error. While covering Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, the NFL Network had a picture of someone entirely different on the screen.
The player pictured here is former Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark. Along with Wagner and Clark not looking anything like one another, the worst part of this is that Clark doesn't even play in Seattle anymore.
Back in April, the Kansas City Chiefs acquired Frank Clark from Seattle in exchange for picks in the 2019 and 2020 drafts.
Despite the careless mistake, the NFL Network managed to eventually get the right picture for the right player.
We won't beat up the NFL Network too much for the error, as it definitley wasn't meant to show Clark in place of Wagner. However, for a national sports network, you'd think that creating graphics would be one of the easier parts of the job.
Anyway, hopefully Wagner isn't too upset that the NFL Network left his picture aside and instead chose the headshot of his former teammate.
