A truly wild NFL Wild Card weekend took place that saw both Tom Brady and Drew Brees taken down in shocking losses.

The young stars of the game are beginning to rise, and many more are waiting to display their talents next weekend in the Divisional Round.

The matchups are as follows.

Play on Saturday begins with the Minnesota Vikings taking on the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers at 4:35 p.m. ET, followed by the Tennessee Titans trying to dethrone Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Sunday opens with the Houston Texans heading to Kansas City in an attempt to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs at 3:05 p.m. ET, and the weekend ends with the Seattle Seahawks in Green Bay to play the Packers at 6:40 p.m. ET.

There are so many storylines, and while the focus in the AFC is on the young quarterbacks, Ryan Tannehill has a chance to outplay them all in what would be one of the more shocking outcomes in recent NFL history.

The NFC features Aaron Rodgers trying to return to the Super Bowl for the first time in 2010, and the first test is a Seahawks team that hasn't advanced past the Divisional Round since 2014.

And don't forget that former backup Jimmy Garoppolo led the 49ers to a No. 1 overall seed. Or that Kirk Cousins took down Drew Brees in New Orleans.

This weekend was wild, and next weekend should be just as insane and unpredictable. Maybe another legend like Rodgers will falter, and the young quarterback revolution will continue.
