NHL in Hot Water for Using Enterprise Flag as Part of National Anthem Presentation Prior to Game 3
By Adam Godfrey

In preparation for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the National Anthem was presented as per usual before any NHL game.
This time was a little different, when there was also an Enterprise advertisement flag being held behind the anthem singer along with all the others.
Shame on @StLouisBlues and @enterprise for putting an advertising flag as part of the color guard accompanying the national anthem prior to last night's Stanley Cup game. A nauseating spectacle. We need to push back against this type of ad encroachment. (h/t @DDapsis) pic.twitter.com/lVUnQEJFJj

The Blues organization has taken some heat for the decision to put an advertisement as a flag held by the Color Guard ahead of Game 3. Enterprise has also been criticized as a result of this, as it is disrespectful to the military, the color guard and the country as a whole.
The Enterprise flag was positioned on the end of the flag line at the opposite end of the American Flag, and very obvious placed so that everybody watching could identify it. This type of advertisement has no place in the NHL, or sports as a whole for that matter.
Just waiting for the players to arrive. #stlblues #WeAllBleedBlue #StanleyCup pic.twitter.com/DhlzgSuKnp

As for the Blues, they prepare for Game 4 in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Bruins in St. Louis, where they look to even up the series at 2-2. Let's hope that the St. Louis organization and Enterprise do not pull another stunt like this.
