VIDEO: Nick Bosa Breaks Down in Tears After 49ers Lose Super Bowl LIV
By Mark Powell
The side-effect of losing is uncontrollable emotion, often negative. For 49ers rookie DE Nick Bosa, it's been quite the journey from Ohio State to Super Bowl LIV, and despite having a long NFL career remaining, he's soaking in the experience. Bosa will not soon forget what it was like to watch the Chiefs celebrate in Miami while his side reluctantly headed to the locker room. The Defensive Rookie of the Year was in tears shortly after the final whistle, and we can't say we blame him.
Bosa had a tremendous impact on the game -- especially when the 49ers held a ten-point edge -- and was even in the short discussion for Super Bowl LIV MVP had that scoreline held. Instead, he's just another player on the wrong side of Super Bowl history.
Political humor aside, the 49ers have a young team with a talented head coach at the helm. This is unlikely to be their last chance a paydirt, as much as it hurts now for Bosa and Co.
