By Jack Murphy

While the future of Tom Brady is still unclear, the New England Patriots have announced they have reached an agreement on an extension with director of player personnel Nick Caserio.
No matter what the future holds for the six-time Super Bowl winner, the Patriots will be looking to keep the front office of its longstanding dynasty in tact for the future.

While most of the credit for the Patriots dynasty is either given to Brady or head coach Bill Belichick, Caserio played a part in constructing the dominant team as well.
In the past, Belichick has described Caserio as a great asset, and he has played a central role in drafting and signing key players during Belichick's tenure.

Bill Belichick previously noted Caserio's dual role in personnel and coaching is a "great asset" to the team. https://t.co/hhkR8vEBDI
Caserio began his NFL career with the Patriots in 2001 as a personnel assistant and worked his way up to director of player personnel by 2008. Considering the experience he boasts in that position, the Pats were determined to ensure he wouldn't be going anywhere.
