Nick Foles Must Be Named Jags Starter After Gardner Minshew Stinker

The Jacksonville Jaguars really looked like they found a gem in rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew to start the season.
Minshew was a sixth-round draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Washington State, and caught everyone completely off guard with his amazing performances in his first few starts.
What the hell is going. This kid Minshew is out here for the @Jaguars looking like the 2nd coming for Joe Montana. @Titans had better get something going or this can get ugly REAL QUICK!

Unfortunately, that Minshew Mania looks to have worn off. His last three out of four starts have been abysmal, sporting a QBR under 40 in each of them. And this no show against the Texans on Sunday was the icing on the cake, as he threw two interceptions and his team only scored a measly three points.

This should be the last straw for the Jaguars. Yes, Minshew has shown promise, but the rest of the league has clearly figured him out by now. They have a chiseled veteran in Nick Foles, someone who's had experience winning, just waiting to get some burn.
Minshew did what a backup is supposed to. He held the fort, and did it well, now it's time for Foles.

Let Minshew spend the rest of the season on the sidelines, taking notes from Foles, who can act as a mentor. Foles is a Super Bowl-winning quarterback. There's no question he should be QB1 on this team.
