Nick Young Volunteers for Team USA After Multiple Players Dropped Out
By Michael Luciano
While it seems like no one outside of Kemba Walker wants to play for the US National Team in the FIBA World Cup, opting instead to preserve their bodies for the NBA season, Swaggy P is here to save the day.
Nick Young, who has spent his offseason snitching on Steve Kerr and his blunt rolling abilities after his 2018-19 season ended prematurely, has volunteered his services for the US team if they can't find anyone else to play.
Is it serious or in jest? Well, as with all Nick Young statements, that takes a little bit of deciphering and a lot of guess work.
Young only played four games in the 2018-19 campaign, as the Denver Nuggets had little tolerance for Swaggy P and all that comes with him. However, he was a key bench player on a Warriors team that won a title in 2018, so he's not a totally shot fighter just yet, even if he's not World Cup material.
Finally, after all these years, the rest of the world might finally get to see what all this hype from America about this "Swaggy P" character is all about. We're sure it wouldn't disappoint.
