Stefon Diggs has had some questionable social media activity lately that has opened speculation about him leaving the Vikings. He has behaved oddly before, and you can never be sure what it truly means. A lot about attitude can be deduced from athletes' activity on the internet, at the very least.

However, despite what Diggs has done online, Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman insists all is well, claiming that the mercurial wideout, along with some other Vikes, are off the market officially.

Sorry, but we don't have to buy it.

Once Spielman declares that it's open season on trade talks for his star wideout, the team loses any leverage they had built up. The goal of a GM is to make his assets seem desirable and difficult to obtain, not to loudly announce that a few social media posts have left him inclined to send Diggs out of town.

Don't discredit what Diggs has done on the internet, though. He changed all his profile pictures, deleted all his football and Vikings related photos, and has tweeted some very cryptic messages all offseason.

If Diggs intends to make trouble all offseason, the commotion will only increase when it's time for him to report to camp. The trade talks could certainly begin swirling. We have no idea yet what Minnesota's locker room will feel like a month from now.

But for Spielman to claim that the contending Vikings are beyond ready to ship Diggs out of town would be foolish, at this juncture. No need to open that can of worms. We're not saying he's gone, but Tuesday's press conference is not the end of the conversation.
