Noah Syndergaard Reacts to Trade Deadline With Perfect Tweet and Bio Change

Despite dominating the rumor mill for the better part of a week, New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard isn't going anywhere.

Thor was still a Met once the deadline arrived, and he took to Twitter to celebrate his non-move by channeling his inner Jordan Belfort.

Syndergaard has also changed his bio, which used to read "Pitcher for the New York Mets, for now", into something that finally brings down the collective heart rate of Mets fans reading trade rumors every day for the last week.

Following a dominant start against the Chicago White Sox as trade rumors swirled overhead, Syndergaard lowered his ERA to 4.10 on the season. While disappointing, his stuff remains as nasty as it ever was, which is why his trade value remained ludicrously high during his down year.

Mets fans haven't had much to cheer for this year, but they will get to see a rotation of Syndergaard, Jacob deGrom, Marcus Stroman and Zack Wheeler for at least the remainder of the season. That alone is must-see TV, and they're only four games below .500, so the postseason is still within reach if they can turn things around.
