Noah Syndergaard Has Excellent Reaction After Fans Boo Astros in Spring Training Debut
By Jack Murphy
New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard made his Spring Training debut on Wednesday afternoon. While on the rubber, he had to pitch through a tremendous amount of booing coming from the stands.
The boos, however, were not directed at the righty flamethrower, rather the crowd was shouting at his opponent, who were none other than the Houston Astros. Thor took to Twitter to react to his debut against the culprits of the infamous sign-stealing scandal.
Syndergaard is trolling with his tweet as he knew that the "boos" were not because the crowd had a problem with him. He wanted to be the latest MLB player to take an indirect jab at the cheating franchise.
This was not the first time Syndergaard criticized Houston for their lack of integrity. Earlier this month, Syndergaard quoted a video to chirp at the 2017 World Series Champions. Yet, this time around Thor wanted to avoid the press that comes with directly taking aim at the Stros, so he merely referenced the boos.
Syndergaard is just one piece of the long list of names who are upset about what the Astros have done to the game of baseball. This may not be the last time the right-handed pitcher takes some shots at the organization.
