Some major news has arrived for Nick Saban and Alabama, who have out-battled numerous teams to land a highly-touted tight end. Oh, but he's not a 2020 recruit.

Nope, the Crimson Tide have added a grad transfer TE in North Carolina's Carl Tucker. He took to Twitter on Wednesday night to announce he'll be wrapping up his college career in the SEC.

Make no mistake about it, this is a big addition for the Tide. Tucker was a wanted man, with Florida State, Tennessee, Washington, Wake Forest and others trying to get him on campus.

The idea of playing for Saban and Alabama was simply too much to pass up on. In his career with North Carolina, Tucker, a 2015 signee, caught 36 balls for 549 yards and four touchdowns.

Alabama beating out several teams to land a stud player? What else is new, as the richer most certainly get richer.
