Brian Kelly Has Idiotic Response to Kirk Herbstreit's Comments About College Football Season Starting on Time
By Michael Luciano

The only major American sport to not postpone the start of their season due to the coronavirus pandemic has been football, both at the pro and collegiate levels. However, some influential names around the game seem to think that fans shouldn't bank on the season starting on time.
After Kirk Herbstreit mused that the season shouldn't start until a vaccine for the virus is developed, Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly angrily shot down the notion the season could be delayed, claiming that Herbstreit is "not a scientist."

Well, Brian, you're a college football coach. What makes you more qualified to speak about anything pandemic-related than Herbstreit?
Notre Dame arrogance knows no bounds, even during a major public health crisis. Those who can't stand Kelly's defiant attitude and confrontational personality are going to be incensed when they hear this.
Is there a more unlikeable coach?

Herbstreit might not be connected to the medical field, but Kelly is even further away from that arena than Herbstreit is. Anything he has to say about the spread of this virus should go in one ear and out the other, while actual doctors (and those exercising precaution) should be trusted when they speak on this pandemic.
