Oakland A's Are Selling a Freaking 'Tamale Hot Dog' and We Have So Many Questions
By Michael Luciano
Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD do it. Looking at you, Oakland Athletics.
The A's decided that peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and franks at the ballpark just wasn't enough. In order to sate the desires of the one guy in Alameda County who was asking for this, the A's Frankensteined together a "tamale hot dog." At least it isn't false advertising, as the concoction is... yeah, it's literally just a tamale dumped on top of a hot dog.
If you're going to go through with this, how hard would it have been to call this a -- wait for it -- hot tamale?
Considering this is also a franchise that sold ahi tuna tacos and a hot dog with both mac and cheese and jalapeños on it, The Town is no stranger to creating all kinds of messed-up creations at the Coliseum.
Hopefully, they wise up soon and realize these two things just do not go together.
Hot dogs? Alright. Tamales? Great. Hot dogs and tamales together? Unholy creation that has no reason to exist. A true head-scratcher if there ever was one.
