Odell Beckham and Duke Johnson to Reportedly Participate in Browns' First OTA on Tuesday
By Jerry Trotta
Though Odell Beckham Jr. skipped previous voluntary workouts with the Cleveland Browns, as countless high-profile stars often do, the superstar wideout plans to attend the team's OTA's on Tuesday.
Cleveland's front office was previously unsure of how OBJ would handle his offseason training as he typically spends his summer in Los Angeles working out with personal trainers and fellow star athletes, but they'll be glad to hear this news.
Odell was back at the Browns' facility on Monday, making an appearance in the locker room on teammate Antonio Callaway's Instagram live story. It was the first time the three-time Pro Bowler has been back in "The Land" since April 1.
Elsewhere, however, dynamic running back Duke Johnson is also reportedly expected to show up to the Browns' organized team workouts, despite repeatedly asking for trade out of Cleveland this offseason.
General manager John Dorsey has refuted his trade demands, claiming that Johnson will have a significant role in the Browns' offense this upcoming year.
Duke has skipped all voluntary workouts thus far and with Nick Chubb starting and Kareem Hunt rolling in after an eight-week suspension, it's worth pondering just how many touches they can get Johnson to keep him happy.
Only time will tell, but in the meantime, head coach Freddie Kitchens should be pleased that two of his most talented offensive weapons will be present on Tuesday.
