The Baltimore Ravens just inked cornerback Marcus Peters to a three-year extension worth $42 million, and he will be manning their defensive secondary for the foreseeable future as they look to remain atop the AFC for the next few years.

The NFL's Twitter page was the first to break the news, and among the responses that poured in were two distinct clap-backs from a couple of Peters' best opponents: Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr.

Maybe these guys are just happy to see their boy get paid, but something tells us these messages are a bit more cryptic than that. The Browns see the Ravens twice a year as they share the same division, and split the two games this season.

Peters had just three tackles in his lone game against Cleveland after being traded to Baltimore from Los Angeles in October, but Landry and Beckham Jr combined for 118 yards receiving.

Peters has garnered a reputation for himself as a known trash-talker, and one can guess that's exactly what he did to both LSU boys in their matchup a few weeks ago.

They seem more than excited to be matched up against him twice a year for the next three seasons.
