Odell Beckham Jr. Involved in Photoshoot for New Browns Jersey Reveal in Latest Sign He's Staying in Cleveland
By Will Coleman
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. notched the fifth 1,000-yard season of his NFL career in his first year with the Browns, and yet there's no telling what Cleveland has in store for their long-term plans with him.
Beckham Jr. is scheduled to make at least $14 million next season and he's under contract through 2023, but rumors continue to circulate that Cleveland could be tempted by a trade partner.
An upcoming Browns photoshoot, however, would suggest that Cleveland isn't letting go of him anytime soon.
The Browns are set to reveal their new uniforms next month, and it's become apparent that Beckham Jr. is one of the players who will model Cleveland's new threads. It wouldn't make too much sense to include the team's biggest star in an anticipated photoshoot if they're about to part ways with him, right?
After all, the Browns just gave up a ton to acquire Beckham Jr. last offseason. Sure, he only posted four touchdowns last year in Cleveland, but it would seem astronomically stupid to move on from Beckham Jr. after just one disjointed season featuring poor leadership on the sidelines.
The Beckham Jr. trade talks will continue to spread throughout next season, but for now, his place on the Browns roster is as safe as ever.
