Ohio State DE Chase Young Looks Like an Absolute Monster Next to Buckeyes Teammates
By Mark Powell

Former 5-star defensive end prospect Chase Young has already made his impact felt in Columbus, but the Ohio State stud pass rusher is expected to take an even greater step forward in 2019.
The Buckeyes announced their 2019 captains, with Young being one of them, and the Hyattsville, Maryland product looked freaking massive.

Someone's been hitting the weight room.
Young was recruited hard by Urban Meyer and Co. in 2017 as the No. 7-ranked player nationally and the top-ranked talent in his state according to 247sports.
Young stepped up big time in 2018, especially after Nick Bosa went down due to injury, and accumulated 9.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. Voted preseason a All-American entering 2019, Young is basically the DK Metcalf of defensive ends-- and he has plenty of stats to back that up.
His goals are understandably high.
Imagine being a Big 10 offensive tackle and seeing Chase Young lined up across from you.

"I mean, everybody wants to be the best. That's what I strive for everyday is just to be the best player I can be, and if it's No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3, then it is what it is. But I just know for myself, I want to go down as the best," Young said back in August, per 247sports.
With his rare combination of size and athleticism, Young is expected to bury opposing offensive tackles this coming season. That's not hard to fathom. It just takes one quick look at the guy.
