Ohio State Fans Trying to Claim National Title as Their Own is Sad Manipulation of Events

Ohio State was defeated by Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinals and Buckeyes fans are still not over it Monday night during the National Championship Game.

There were indeed a few questionable calls, but the fact is the Buckeyes lost and had plenty of opportunities to win the game. Though some fans and writers just can't let it go.

His tweet was sent out in the first half of the National Championship Game and is just a ridiculous way to view the situation. No one knows how Ohio State would have played against LSU. If they were the best team they would have found a way to beat Clemson, regardless of a questionable decision or two.

The best team doesn't always win the championship. If that were the case there would be no reason for a postseason in any sport. Just crown the No. 1 team at the end of the regular season if that is the logic.

Fun fact: if that were the case, LSU still would've won.

Buckeyes fans aren't going to be swayed from this feeling no matter who wins are how the game finishes. Their minds are made up that Ohio State are the best team and nothing will change that.

This is a weird reaction for a team that didn't even make it to the championship game. Though this is what fans do and Buckeyes supporters are among the most passionate in the nation.

Not being salty about the loss to Clemson would be totally out of character.
