VIDEO: Ohio State Star Jeff Okudah Ends Sunday's Combine Drills Early After Injury Scare
By Jerry Trotta

The NFL Combine is a tremendous opportunity for college prospects to boost their draft stock. As always, however, the week-long showcase also comes with the daunting prospect of players suffering injuries. During the defensive back workout slate on Sunday, former Ohio State standout corner Jeff Okudah undoubtedly scared some teams when he came down awkwardly upon making an impressive snag.

You can hear the concern in Jamal Adams' voice as he pleaded for Okudah to stand up. Though he did so gingerly, the former Buckeye thankfully was able to walk off the field under his own power.
It's being reported that Okudah, who already took part in the 40-yard dash, sustained an injury to the head/neck area, and is done participating in drills for the day.

However, he may still complete the Combine's jumps.
Per @KimJonesSports, #OSU CB Jeff Okudah won’t do drills after falling tracking a ball and taking a hit to the head and neck area. He may still do the jumps, though.

This is definitely the right decision by Okudah. The young DB is widely projected to be one of the first players to have his name called on April 23. His stock can't ascend much higher. There is simply no need for him to risk further injury.
