As any true college football fan would know, winning the uniform matchup is half the battle. Ryan Day and Ohio State certainly won't have any problems in that department this year. In addition to their classic scarlet jersey and silver helmet adorned with buckeye stickers, Ohio State will sport some solid black alternate jerseys when they face off against Michigan State in primetime.

The jerseys, introduced in 2015's Penn State Game, have become immensely popular and have been designated as the team's official alternate jersey. The Buckeyes last wore them during the 2018 season during a nail-biting win over Nebraska.

While Ohio State drew the ire of Twitter last year for hosting a "blackout" game in the daytime, the Buckeyes will be ready to play in their stylish black threads under the primetime lights in front of the whole country.

Unless you're a curmudgeonly old traditionalist who think the Penn State uniforms are a bit too flashy, it's hard to not fall in love with what the Buckeyes have been sporting the last few years.
