Ohio State WR Binjimen Victor Has Been Best Performer After Day 2 of East-West Shrine Bowl Practice
By Michael Luciano
Ohio State WR Binjimen Victor came into the week of practices at the East-West Shrine Bowl with a reputation as a speedy deep threat with a nose for the end zone. He has confirmed all of that buzz, and then some, after two days.
Victor was the most electric receiver at Tropicana Field on Tuesday, as the West receiver's highlight of the day was a terrific double move on an almost equally impressive corner, West Virginia's Keith Washington II, hauling in the long reception.
Victor has met with scouts from the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Saints in St. Petersburg.
The 6-4, 199 pound Victor caught 34 passes for 545 yards and six touchdowns this season, and those numbers would have been much higher if he was on the one of the many non-Buckeye Big Ten teams where he would've been the featured receiver.
With physicality, speed and incredibly sticky hands that will serve him well no matter what scheme he ends up in, Victor has been outclassing the rest of the skill position players in St. Pete.
His production might have been limited during his time at Ohio State due to their army of future NFL wide receivers, but Victor has shown enough to convince at least one team to take a chance on him, either with a Day 2 or Day 3 pick.
