How Oklahoma Can Make College Football Playoff After Week 13 CFP Rankings
By Mark Powell

The Oklahoma Sooners path to the College Football Playoff remains a difficult one, but it's still possible.
Lincoln Riley and Co. face this predicament due to their loss to Kansas State several weeks ago. Since then, they've managed to get back to their winning ways, albeit with a few close calls. OU barely beat TCU on Saturday, and were one bad spot away from making that game too close for comfort.
At this point, the committee is looking for convincing wins to change their collective minds. Oklahoma is lucky in the fact they close the season against two ranked teams in Oklahoma State and Baylor, should they meet in the Big 12 Championship.

Ohio St- Win out
LSU- Win out
Clemson- Win out
Georgia- Win out
Utah- Win out/UGA loss
Bama- Win Out/UGA loss/Utah loss/OU loss
Oklahoma- Win Out/UGA loss
Minnesota- Win out
Baylor- Win Out/UGA loss/Utah loss/Bama loss
Oklahoma/Utah interesting argument for #4
If Oklahoma wins out, and does so with a convincing win over Baylor, it might just be enough if paired with a Georgia loss to LSU in the SEC Championship Game. The committee weighs top-10 wins heavily, as seen by Ohio State leaping LSU in this week's rankings.
Should OU defeat Baylor by double-digits this time around, it'd be tough to keep them out.

With Utah ranked ahead of Oklahoma, however, it makes for a complicated final rankings should both teams win out, and do so with many highlights. At this point, however, all OU can hope for is to make the decision a tough one.
