Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray Provides Positive Update After Suffering Injury at NFL Combine
By Dylan McCaffrey

The NFL Draft Combine is about putting it all on the line to get the best results you possibly can. Unfortunately, not every player can stay healthy ahead of the event, and for even unluckier players, injuries can crop up in the midst of a drill in front of scouts.
That was the case for Oklahoma standout Kenneth Murray, who reportedly suffered a strained hamstring on his second attempt at the 40-yard dash. Fortunately, Murray revealed he has most of his strength back in his hamstring already and will be able to participate at Oklahoma's Pro Day.

He's doing well and has the majority of his strength already, which indicates a strain. He was able to walk on it and stayed to support his fellow LBs during drills last night.
Murray is expected to be a first-round selection as he was one of the best line backers in the NCAA for Oklahoma. He still clocked in at a very good 4.52 seconds for the 40-yard dash in what stands at his only attempt at the drill.
After what looked to be a strong start to his second attempt, Murray pulled up grabbing his hamstring and hobbled off to the side.

A sad ending to a terrific day for Murray. He’s earned the RD1 praise. pic.twitter.com/Ud9WoxS0YJ
During his career at Oklahoma, Murray had the most Big 12 tackles in 2018 with 155 total. The Sooners were ranked fourth in the NCAA. Murray received a lot of love from fans who were watching live when he was injured, and he responded on twitter.
I’m solid. Nothing can break me. Just a little adversity not nothing I’m not use to! Thank you to all who reached out and sent prayers! ??

Kenneth Murray was not the only linebacker to sustain an injury either. Another projected first rounder, Patrick Queen of LSU strained his hamstring right after completing his second 40-yard attempt. Let's hope both these guys can come back at 100% as soon as possible.
