Mike Gundy will travel up to Corvallis, Ore. as he looks to get his Oklahoma State Cowboys off to a 1-0 start as he faces off against an Oregon State team that finished last in the Pac-12 last year at 2-10.

Gundy has not named a starting quarterback for the Cowboys, as he is still deciding between Hawaii transfer and 2018 backup Dru Brown or highly-touted redshirt freshman quarterback Spencer Sanders. It's entirely possible that both quarterbacks play in this game.

Former Beavers quarterback Jonathan Smith might have only won two games last year, but things are looking up for Oregon State. 6-foot-7 quarterback Jake Luton is back from an injury, while reigning Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year Jermar Jefferson, who ran for 1,380 yards and 12 touchdowns, gives the offense a home run threat for the first since James and Jacquizz Rodgers.
