VIDEO: Old Clip of Charles Barkley Responding to Scottie Pippen Criticism is Hilarious

Throughout his career in the basketball limelight, Charles Barkley has never been one to mince his words, and anyone who's been watching "The Last Dance" is well aware that Barkley is among those whose career accolades were stomped on by Michael Jordan's Bulls. Needless to say, a certain bit of hatred for those folks lasted throughout his entire career. During his time with the Rockets, Chuck pulled no punches when speaking candidly about six-time champion then-Blazer Scottie Pippen in this excellent throwback clip.

Even before his days on Inside the NBA on TNT, Barkley was always the class clown of the NBA, which makes him one of the media’s crown jewels to this day. Barkley’s comments Pippen are humorous, even going as far as to say to the media that they'd know his exact course of action if Pippen did not apologize about criticizing Barkley.

Looking back, it is clear that this clip was all fun and games. Both players had battled in the NBA Finals, played on the Dream Team together and were well past their prime at this point of their careers. Even mutual friend Michael Jordan stepped in to clear the air on the situation. Let’s just hope Scottie has apologized by now so that Chuck doesn’t have to go to the truck.
