Old Insane Tweet About Joe Judge's Mississippi State Days Will Fire up Any Giants Fan
By Michael Luciano

The New York Giants stunned us all with their latest head coaching hire, as they brought in former New England Patriots special teams and wide receivers coach Joe Judge in a move that came from way out of left field.
During Judge's time as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Mississippi State, it seems he engaged in some sideline hijinx that is sure to warm the cockles of Giants fans' hearts. Don't believe us? Just ask Ian Rapoport from 2012!
Also, I covered Joe Judge, Pats ST assistant, at Miss. St. Won't forget him getting penalized for throwing a guy over the team bench

That's what the grind of an SEC football schedule does, folks.
Judge, who almost took the Mississippi State head coaching job before the Giants came calling, was the special teams coach for Belichick for the better part of the last decade, and started coaching the wide receivers before the 2019 season after Chad O'Shea left to become the Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator.
Judge is a total coaching wild card, but he will at the very least get the Giants back to being tough, if his behavior in Starkville is anything to go by.
New York Giants are finalizing a deal to make Patriots’ wide receivers coach Joe Judge their next head coach, league sources tell ESPN. Deal was in the works as of last night, which is another reason Matt Rhule took the Panthers’ HC job.

In the Pat Shurmur era, there was too much patting on the back and not enough throwing grown men over benches. Maybe Judge will give the Giants the physical edge that they went away from with the hires of Shurmur and Ben McAdoo.
