The first version of this game came in 2017, when the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-3. The New York Mets took the 2018 game in an 8-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 2019 game, which will coincide with the finals of the Little League World Series, will feature the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Williamsport is more than just home to the Single-A Williamsport Crosscutters. It's a baseball institution that has helped foster the growth of the game through Little League and the Little League World Series. It's nice to see Rob Manfred pay homage to what the city has meant to the game by continuing this exhibition series.
