Ozzie Guillen's Latest NSFW Comments on Sign Stealing Truly Put the Astros in Their Place
The Houston Astros could quite possibly be the most hated team in America after the revelation of the longstanding sign-stealing scheme conducted by players and coaches.
Former MLB manager Ozzie Guillen was the latest individual to chime in on the situation, and while he didn't direct his words to the Astros or former manager A.J. Hinch, he got his point across VERY clearly.
That's what we call indirectly direct.
Hinch allowed the scheme to carry on and did nothing to put an end to it, as was proven in the MLB's investigation. He was the boss, as Guillen pointed out, and it was his team to manage. Letting it go on for THREE seasons proves he was complicit despite his "attempts" to stop the operation.
Guillen has always been outspoken and for once it's hard for anyone, at least outside of Houston, to disagree with what he has to say. Hinch lost control of his team and a former World Series-winning manager like Guillen certainly provides impactful perspective on this manner. If you're the supposed boss of the team, Guillen wants you to act like it.
