Aaron Rodgers Breaks Social Media Silence After Packers Drafted Jordan Love and it's Pretty Weird
The Green Bay Packers, from a win-now standpoint, arguably had the worst NFL Draft of any team. Last weekend was highlighted by general manager Brian Gutekunst trading up in the first round to select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love instead of giving incumbent star Aaron Rodgers another weapon in the receiving game.
How does Rodgers feel about that, and the numerous other head-scratching picks?
Oh, word??? He's gone full Cali on us, folks. This is his first post since before last Thursday.
The guy is "totally chill" and "relaxed" after all that's transpired over the past week? The draft itself, coupled with the media fallout and other buzz suggesting the Packers' made a "power move" against Rodgers in selecting Love, is by no means any reason for the former MVP to be "vibing."
But what we do know is that he might be getting a little nostalgic about the past.
A good old #TBT with a bunch of former Packers players! Still nothing on the draft??
Nope! He's just reminiscing about the good times and crushing Netflix. No mention of Brett Favre. No mention of the current state of the Packers. Maybe he didn't even acknowledge the draft this year because he knew the front office wouldn't get him a wide receiver in the first round, considering he can't get a single management regime to do that for him.
Rock on, Rodg. Carry these chill vibes into training camp and set the tone for an epic "Hard Knocks" in 2021.
