When Matt LaFleur was hired as the new head coach of the Green Bay Packers there was concern about how he would get along with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Considering how things ended between Rodgers and former HC Mike McCarthy, that uneasiness was justified.

In fact, the preseason even indicated that the two were destined for a rocky relationship. The two-time MVP was reportedly miffed with LaFleur's coaching methods, particularly with the lack of freedom he permitted Rodgers to have at the line of scrimmage.

When the dust settled, however, the Packers enjoyed a solid campaign. The 36-year-old gunslinger recently opened up about his connection with LaFleur and denied all rumored beef with a perfect answer.

That remark could almost be interpreted as an understatement. Green Bay finished 13-3 last season, their best record since a 15-1 campaign in 2011, and advanced as far as the NFC Championship Game after finishing as the No. 2 seed.

As for Rodgers, well, he enjoyed his best year since 2016. The eight-time Pro Bowler posted 4,000 yards and 26 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions.

He even further commended LaFleur's ability to maintain a strong vibe in the locker room while the Packers were "winning ugly," which became the team's slogan in 2019.

Any Green Bay fans previously concerned about Rodgers' and LaFleur's relationship can officially move on. If No. 12 is happy, then you should be as well.
