Adrian Amos Blasts Packers Haters With Hilarious Response to Aaron Rodgers Slander
By Michael Luciano
Football media has collectively put a doomsday clock that counts down until the end of the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay because it seems like the Packers organization is ready to move on from the former MVP and in order to start the Jordan Love era within the next few years.
Former Packers, like Dallas Cowboys safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, tried to shoot down the narrative that it was Rodgers' performance that prompted the Love selection. Packers safety Adrian Amos co-signed that opinion, adding that the Aaron Rodgers he knew during his time with the Chicago Bears is nothing like the guy he plays with now.
Rodgers topped 4,000 yards once again, throwing for 26 touchdowns against four interceptions at the age of 36.
If you're wondering why numbers like his yards per attempt (7.0) and touchdown percentage (4.6 percent) are lower than his usual standards, one could look to either LaFleur's scheme or the fact Rodgers has thrown just one touchdown pass to a first-round pick in his career, proving Green Bay hasn't given him weapons over the years.
Rodgers is coming off of a productive season in which he led his team to the NFC Championship game. The fact that talking heads in the media and apparently some members of the Packers front office want to throw dirt on Rodgers' grave is simply inconceivable. At least Amos confirmed that the portrayal of Rodgers on and off the field in the media is skewed.
