So far, the NFL season appears to be moving as planned, but plenty of changes are expected to be coming this summer fall.

This means things also won't be the same for the Green Bay Packers, who have moved their shareholders meeting typically held at Lambeau Field to a virtual format this year.

The Packers stated that the decision to move the event was clearly based on the concerns about large public gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic. President and CEO Matt Murphy said the following to shareholders, "As there still is uncertainty with respect to being able to hold gatherings of more than 50 people ... our Board of Directors and I have decided to hold this year's meeting virtually."

Due to cases of coronavirus still increasing in certain parts of the country, the Packers clearly want to make sure everyone stays safe during this difficult time. While everyone enjoys going to the shareholders meeting and receiving the reports in person, doing so virtually this year feels like the right call.
