VIDEO: Bears May Have Gotten Ripped Off on Packers Kick Catch Interference Penalty
By Michael Luciano
The Chicago Bears appeared to recover a Tramon Williams fumble on a punt early in the first quarter against the Green Bay Packers. Bears fans, however, were left stunned after Cordarrelle Patterson was called for kick catch interference despite the fact that Williams never signaled for a fair catch.
Given new life, the Packers proceeded to take an early lead as Aaron Rodgers fired a 29-yard touchdown to Davante Adams on fourth down. Seems like it's going to be a long afternoon in Wisconsin for Matt Nagy's crew.
The Bears getting handed a disadvantage at Lambeau thanks to the improper execution of a call, and said botched call directly aiding Aaron Rodgers? You don't say!
As of this writing, Chicago's had to battle a wide variety of zebras in their fight to stay playoff relevant.
